Property Manager –
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Property Manager to oversee our premier multi-unit residential building in the heart of a picturesque mountain town. Nestled amid towering peaks, crisp alpine air, and stunning seasonal landscapes, this role offers the perfect blend of professional challenge and natural beauty.
Role Overview
As the on-site Property Manager, you serve as the primary point of contact for residents and the face of our community. You will manage the full spectrum of operations for a vibrant multi-unit property, ensuring high occupancy rates, tenant satisfaction, and the long-term upkeep of a well-maintained building that residents are proud to call home.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Tenant Relations
- Manage the leasing process from start to finish: market available units, conduct property tours, screen applicants, prepare and execute lease agreements, and handle renewals.
- Build strong relationships with current and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries promptly and fostering a welcoming community atmosphere.
- Maintain high occupancy through effective marketing strategies tailored to the mountain town lifestyle — appealing to locals, remote workers, and seasonal residents who value outdoor access and mountain views.
Maintenance & Operations
- Coordinate and oversee all maintenance activities, including routine inspections, preventive upkeep, and emergency repairs.
- Organize and supervise vendors, contractors, and service providers for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, snow removal (in winter), and general building systems.
- Ensure the property remains in excellent condition year-round, addressing seasonal needs such as preparing for heavy snowfall, spring runoff, or summer tourism influx.
- Additional Duties
- Handle tenant communications, mediate concerns, and enforce lease terms and community guidelines professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of leases, financials, work orders, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with ownership on capital improvements and long-term property planning.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in property management, leasing, or a related field (multi-unit residential preferred).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills — you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of basic building systems, maintenance coordination, and relevant local regulations.
- Passion for mountain living and an appreciation for the unique challenges and rewards of property management in a scenic, seasonal destination.
- Proficiency with property management software, Microsoft Office, and basic accounting principles.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while representing the property with integrity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys both the business side of real estate and the satisfaction of maintaining a high-quality living environment in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. If you’re ready to trade city traffic for mountain trails while building a thriving residential community, we’d love to hear from you.
Compensation includes competitive salary, performance bonuses, on-site housing options (if applicable), and the unmatched lifestyle of living and working in a stunning mountain town.
