We are seeking an experienced Crew Leader to oversee a crew on our concrete forming projects. This leadership role is responsible for managing a crew, coordinating work with office team, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Crew Leadership: Lead, organize, and motivate crew while performing and assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Project Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, grades, and specifications to ensure foundations are built accurately and according to plan.
- Formwork Oversight: Supervise and participate in the layout, assembly, installation, bracing, and stripping of formwork for footings, foundation walls, and columns.
- Quality Control: Inspect work throughout each phase of construction to ensure accuracy, structural integrity, and a high-quality finished product.
- Concrete Operations: Coordinate all stages of concrete placement including pre-pour inspections, concrete pours, vibrating, wall finishing, anchor bolt installation, and post-pour procedures.
- Crew Development: Mentor and train Lead Hands and Labourers, providing coaching and promoting continuous skill development.
- Equipment & Resource Management: Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are organized and maintained
- Communication: Coordinate daily with management, site supervisors, pump operators, concrete suppliers, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Site Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free worksite while promoting a professional work environment.
- Safety Leadership: Enforce company safety policies, conduct daily hazard assessments, and ensure all crew members follow safe work practices.

Requirements
- Work Authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on concrete forming experience, including 2+ years leading crews or supervising projects.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage crews, delegate responsibilities, solve problems, and maintain productivity under changing site conditions.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, elevations, and specifications.
- Construction Knowledge: Thorough understanding of foundation construction, forming systems, layout, grades, concrete placement, and quality control.
- Communication: Ability to serve as the primary point of communication between the site and office, ensuring accurate scheduling, material coordination and the efficient execution of daily operations at their assigned work site.
- Physical Fitness: Physically capable of working in demanding outdoor conditions and performing construction-related tasks.
- Reliable Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required to travel to jobsites throughout Simcoe County and Muskoka.
- Professional Mindset: Demonstrated leadership, accountability, strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and commitment to safety.

Pay: $84,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
