Tatras Industrial is building the 2026 Field Roster for industrial rope access projects throughout the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, and select locations in Western Canada.
We are seeking qualified Rope Access Technicians — IRATA Level 1 and Level 2 for temporary, project-based field work. Work is assigned job-to-job based on project demand, worker availability, qualifications, and client/site requirements. Continuous work between projects is not guaranteed.
Roles We Are Accepting Applications For
- Level 1 Rope Access Technicians
- Level 2 Rope Access Technicians
Typical Work May Include:
- Industrial rope access support
- Inspection, maintenance, repair, and access support
- Working on industrial, construction, shutdown, or client-controlled sites
- Supporting rescue planning and emergency response requirements
- Working under approved rope access systems and supervision
- Completing field-level documentation where required
- Assisting with setup, access, rigging, work positioning, and site control
Required Qualifications and Attributes:
- Current IRATA Level 1 or Level 2 certification preferred
- Strong safety attitude and professional conduct
- Ability to follow rope access procedures, rescue plans, and site rules
- Ability to work safely under the direction of a rope access supervisor
- Ability to work as part of a large team
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Reliable communication
- Reliable transportation to Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley sites
- Legal ability to work in Canada
Preferred Experience:
- Industrial rope access experience
- Shutdown or large scale project experience
- Confined space, rescue, welding, inspection, or trade-related experience
- First aid certification
Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
