Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinic team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them relax, recover from injuries, and improve overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude, ensuring a positive experience for every client. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to health and holistic care. Our clinic has 9 treatment rooms, a full strength and conditioning gym. We provide services to all sorts of patients from professional athletes to seniors.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and injury recovery techniques
- Assess clients’ conditions and discuss treatment plans to ensure optimal results
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records of treatments provided
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in treatment areas according to health regulations
- Schedule appointments and manage client flow efficiently to maximize service quality
- Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state or regional regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to listen attentively and tailor treatments based on individual client needs
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
