Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment, with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts other material handling equipment
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Operate warehouse management system software to track inventory movements
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling, weighing, and packing items securely
- Ensure proper storage of received goods and organize inventory in designated areas
- Assist with order picking and order fulfillment processes to meet customer demands
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts in the warehouse system
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counting activities
- Follow safety procedures during all warehouse activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles preferred
- Experience operating forklifts (certification preferred)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for weights, measurements, and inventory counts
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required
- Prior experience with order picking, load & unload operations, and warehouse equipment is advantageous

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
