Position : Teaching Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Work with children with Autism in 1:1 and group settings under direct supervision of the Senior Instructor Therapists and the BCBA.
- To help children with autism to acquire skills in:
- Language and communication
- Core and Applied Academic
- Self-Regulation
- Play and leisure
- Social and Life Skills
** will provide training
Qualifications:
- Relevant Diploma/degree in a Canadian college/university
- Knowledgeable with autism, ABA
- Must have patience and prepare to accommodate the various symptoms of ASD
- Must be willing to work with children of wide range of abilities and needs
- Good communication skills
