High-End Interior Finisher / Finish Carpenter
Summit Building Co. | Vernon, BC
At Summit Building Co., we believe exceptional homes are built by exceptional people.
We're looking for an exceptional Interior Finisher who takes genuine pride in craftsmanship and has the experience to deliver flawless work, every day. This position is not intended for entry-level carpenters, framers or general labourers. We're looking for someone who already operates at a high level and wants to continue refining their craft alongside a team that shares the same standards.
If you're the type of person who has the skills to execute quality craftsmanship, refuses to leave behind imperfect work, and enjoys building projects that most carpenters never get the opportunity to work on, we'd like to meet you.
What You'll Be Building
You'll work in our manufacturing facility constructing luxury tiny homes, modular homes, ADUs, and custom specialty projects. Every build is unique and requires careful attention to detail from start to finish.
Your work will include:
- High-end interior finishing
- Cabinet and millwork installation
- Interior trim packages
- Feature walls and architectural details
- Door and hardware installation
- Final fit and finish
- Flooring installations
- Tile installations
- Quality control and final detailing before delivery
What We're Looking For
This role is for an experienced craftsman or craftswoman.
You should have:
- Minimum 5 years of interior finish carpentry experience
- Experience on custom or luxury residential projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in your work
- Strong understanding of high-end finish standards
- The ability to work efficiently on complex designs without sacrificing quality
- Experience reading construction drawings and executing independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think several steps ahead
- A positive attitude and desire to contribute to a high-performing team
The Kind of Person Who Will Succeed Here
You care deeply about your work.
You don't rush to "get it done", you work efficiently because you've mastered your craft.
You're a self starter who doesn't need to be pushed or externally motivated.
You appreciate precision, clean lines, and thoughtful design.
You enjoy working with other professionals who challenge each other to produce exceptional work.
You're looking for a career where quality matters more than quantity and where your craftsmanship is recognized and respected.
