Job Overview
We specialize in gates 99.9% of our welding is aluminum tig. We also do boat tops, Flatdecks, transom pods, and various other custom aluminum work. We occasionally do installs which involve travelling to job site and installing gates and automation. Wages depends on experience willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum materials according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate fabrication
- Operate and set up welding equipment
- Use calipers, measuring tapes, and other precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Conduct machining tasks for component fitting and finishing using power tools and hand tools
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, rigging, crane operation, and the use of power tools
- Assist with assembly processes when required, ensuring proper fit and finish of welded components
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety standards are adhered to during operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding, and aluminum fabrication in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, plasma cutting, press brake machines, machining, and assembly processes
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools, and other precision measurement instruments effectively
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
- Knowledge of schematics related to ductwork or structural components is a plus
- Construction experience or background in manufacturing is highly desirable
- Ability to operate forklifts safely is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control during welding operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot welding issues promptly
