Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure successful project execution. This role is vital in helping our company deliver competitive bids while maintaining quality standards. The Estimator will play a key role in supporting the company's growth by providing precise and timely estimates that align with project scope and budget.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine scope of work
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors
- Analyze bid documents and prepare comprehensive proposals within deadlines
- Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing and availability information
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, assumptions, and methodologies for future reference
- Participate in bid meetings and presentations to clarify estimates and address client inquiries
- Monitor industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new materials or techniques to ensure competitive bidding
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering industries
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent mathematical proficiency and attention to detail
- Proficiency in estimating software tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is a plus

Pay: From $41,910.13 per year
