Music For Life, a Christian non-profit and home of the internationally acclaimed African Children’s Choir™, is seeking a Donor Relations Coordinator who will serve as a vital connection between our generous supporters and the children we serve.
In this role, you will be at the heart of what keeps our organization thriving—cultivating strong, lasting relationships with donors, ensuring they feel valued, appreciated, and deeply connected to the life-changing impact of their generosity.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Donor Services Team Lead, you will:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for donors, building trust and long-term relationships.
- Communicate appreciation and gratitude in meaningful, personalized ways.
- Ensure donors feel connected to the impact of their contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong, ongoing relationships with donors, fostering long-term engagement and retention.
- Express sincere and timely gratitude through personalized emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Respond to donor inquiries with warmth, professionalism, and care.
- Share updates, stories, and sponsorship information that demonstrate the real-life impact of donor contributions.
- Create a positive and memorable donor experience that reflects the heart and mission of the organization.
- Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser’s Edge, ensuring all interactions and contributions are properly documented.
- Support gift processing, acknowledgments, and donor communications with a high level of attention to detail.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and meaningful donor journey.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with people.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on warmth and authenticity.
- A genuine passion for expressing gratitude and recognizing the impact of donor contributions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated, positive, and adaptable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems is an asset.

Pay: $48,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
