We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and caring Childcare worker to join our vibrant team. As a childcare worker, you will play an integral role in supporting the daily care and development of children in our centre. You will collaborate with other educators to create a safe, fun and enriching environment that fosters creativity, curiosity and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with children in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Observe and document children's progress, behavior and developmental milestones.
- Ensure all children’s needs (health, emotional and developmental) are met with attention and care.
- Collaborate with other educators to maintain an effective and positive team dynamic.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child’s progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Follow all safety, health, and regulatory guidelines set by the centre and government authorities.
- Maintain a clean and organized play and learning environment.
Applicants must have:
- Alberta Childcare Certification - Level 2 or 3
- Child Care First Aid
- Criminal Record Check which includes the vulnerable sector
