We currently have an opening for a General Machine Operator on a full-time contract basis. Reporting to the Production Manager, the General Machine Operator will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
· Light assembly work
· Operating various CNC metal machining centers
· Lifting up to 40 pounds
· Follow all safety procedures and practices
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Reliable transportation
· CSA approved work boots
· Ability to obtain Possession and Acquisitions License (PAL)
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From $19.89 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lakefield, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)
