Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for handling daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, forklift operation, and inventory management using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify product quantity and condition
- Accurately put away inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Update and manage inventory using WMS
- Conduct basic inventory checks and assist with cycle counts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
- Forklift experience required (valid certification preferred)
- Familiarity with WMS systems is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $18.00 CAD/hour
- After 3-month probationary period: $19.00 CAD/hour
