UCAB is seeking reliable and customer-focused Taxi Drivers to join our team. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, knowledge of local routes, and a commitment to passenger safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers to and from requested destinations
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies
- Provide courteous and professional customer service
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Use GPS and navigation tools efficiently
- Collect fares and issue receipts when required
- Report any accidents, vehicle issues, or incidents promptly
Requirements:
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract.
- Must have 5 years of consecutive insurance history in Canada.
- Must be a minimum of 25 years old.
- Good knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must complete a Level 3 Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
