Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance 91 year old gentlemen, in his home. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, especially seniors. The Home Care Worker plays a vital part in promoting independence, safety, and Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or hospice care is highly valued, along with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives.
Duties
- Prepare nutritious meals.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to family members
- Assist with errands such as grocery shopping or appointment transportation as needed
- Follow care plans and document services provided accurately
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care settings is preferred
- Experience or desire to work with seniors.
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is advantageous
- Background working with patients requiring specialized care such as hospice or dementia care is a plus
- Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills and patience for providing personalized attention

Typical hours of work would be Friday noon until Sunday evening. Evenings will be spent in your own living unit under the client.
Pay: $1,500.00-$1,600.00 per month
