We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable Shop Helper to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and grow within the automotive field.
As a Shop Helper, you will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of the shop. You will assist with day-to-day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly. This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the shop, including daily housekeeping tasks
- Assisting auto glass technicians with tasks as directed
- Picking up and delivering company-owned vehicles and parts as required
- Supporting Service and Parts Department operations, including shipping and receiving tasks
- Maintaining general housekeeping standards
- Ensuring all safety policies, procedures, and standards are followed to maintain a safe work environment
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support overall dealership operations

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Commitment to following safety and security procedures
- Reliable with excellent punctuality and attendance
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Record of Conduct
- Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, or automotive environment is considered an asset
