Property Manager
Calgary, AB | Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee building operations within the Health Shared Services contract portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations across assigned healthcare sites while delivering strong client service and contract performance. This position is a key member of the contract management team and works closely with operations, maintenance, and client stakeholders to ensure all contractual obligations and performance standards are met.
What You’ll Do

Own the day‑to‑day operations and long‑term performance of an assigned commercial building portfolio

Oversee building operations, repairs, tenant requests, and preventive maintenance programs

Lead, support, and hold site teams and subcontractors accountable for service delivery and performance

Manage contract deliverables, KPIs, and service specifications

Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, monitor variances, and control expenditures

Conduct regular building inspections, assess building condition, and support capital planning initiatives

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, tenants, contractors, and suppliers

Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and applicable legislation

Participate in an on‑call rotation to respond to after‑hours and weekend emergencies as required
What You Bring
-
Commercial Real Estate or Facilities designation (RPA or FMA) required
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial facilities or property management
-
Direct experience managing building operations, maintenance projects, and subcontracted services
-
Strong working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, etc.)

Proven leadership experience working with on‑site teams and external vendors

Solid financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control
-
Strong communication skills and a professional, client‑focused approach

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CMMS and MRI is an asset

Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
Asset

4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certification

Work Details
Schedule: Monday to Friday-
Hours: 40 hours per week

On-Call: Participation in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation required
