Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in legal offices is a plus, but not required.
Pay will be commensurate with the level of experience. 3 month probationary period will apply.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately with excellent phone etiquette
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Handle filing, copying, scanning, and other clerical tasks to support daily operations
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as proofreading documents
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Manage front desk operations efficiently, ensuring smooth office flow
- Must be comfortable preforming light cleaning tasks weekly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an office environment, including clerical or administrative roles
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, and data entry systems
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Strong typing skills and proofreading abilities
- Customer service experience with a focus on customer support and phone etiquette
- Prior experience in legal office is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a busy setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or clerical training is a plus
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
