Role
We are seeking an individual to work out of our Kingston office that can prepare digital files for our own field work, as well as for our clients who use GPS Machine Control and other Survey Equipment.
The position is ideally suited for someone with a strong 3D CAD/Modelling background and GPS/Total Station field layout experience.

Duties/Tasks
Create accurate 2D/3D models from engineered plans with Trimble Business Center and/or Civil3D
Create quantity take offs and cut/fill analysis for estimating purposes
Creating Reports and PDF’s for clients
Field work consists of concrete and civil layout, typically done with a Robotic Total Station
Qualifications
Ideally already proficient in either Civil 3D or Trimble Business Center, but functional CAD experience is a requirement of this position
Understanding of general survey/layout principles
Working knowledge of survey equipment ie GPS and Total Stations
Post Secondary Degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, CET etc. is preferred by not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
