We are supporting a leading aviation client in the search for a senior Engine Integration Engineering Expert to join their Mirabel team.
Role Summary
You will assess engine technical maturity for design and certification, identify risks and trade-offs, and support investigations. The role includes representing engine integration across programs, coordinating with propulsion experts, and mentoring engineering teams on turbomachinery concepts and aircraft integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate critical engine design proposals for compliance and best practices
- Support engineering development owners and integrators
- Perform trade-off studies on new propulsion concepts
- Lead risk management within scope of responsibility
- Deliver results aligned with Time, Cost, Quality, and Performance (TCQP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- 20 years’ experience in engine turbomachinery core design (OEM experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of turbofan design, testing, validation & certification
- Familiarity with engine externals, FADEC, controls, and installation qualification requirements
- Experience with risk management, CAR/AWM 525/533 certification, and vendor management
- Aircraft investigation experience is an asset
