Boreal Veterinary Centre is a privately owned 24/7 emergency and referral hospital in Edmonton, AB. We are seeking a board-certified small animal surgeon to join our team on an urgent locum basis.
About the Role
You will work alongside an experienced surgeon and a dedicated, full surgery team that includes a board-certified anesthesiologist. Our facility is fully equipped with dedicated surgery suites, CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, and an in-house lab. You will have the support and resources needed to practice at the highest level from day one.
We are looking for a 3-month commitment as a primary arrangement, though we are open to discussing shorter weekly options for the right candidate.
What We Are Looking For
Board certification with the ACVS or ECVS, or equivalent credentials recognized by the ABVMA
Current or eligible ABVMA registration
Comfortable stepping into a high-volume referral environment
