About the Opportunity
Are you someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and handling sensitive information with care? We are recruiting for a Health Records Clerk to support the Privacy Office of a respected healthcare organization during a short-term project focused on confidential patient records.
In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting a high-impact initiative by helping reconcile returned correspondence and accurately identify and update contact information. Your Responsibilities
- You'll review returned confidential correspondence and assist with locating and verifying accurate contact information.
- You'll navigate spreadsheets and internal systems to support record updates and project tracking.
- You'll handle sensitive health information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
- You'll prepare handwritten documentation when required, ensuring accuracy and legibility.
- You'll support the Privacy Office by completing repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative, records management, or office support experience.
- Experience working with confidential or sensitive information is considered a strong asset.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Clear, neat handwriting and strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently after training.
- Ability to meet all healthcare immunization and vaccination requirements prior to starting.
