Southsask Quality Processors is currently accepting applications for a full time Experienced Grain Plant Operator.
The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, nights and weekends. Adhere to policies which include GOP's, food safety, HACCP and CFIA procedures. Candidate will be required to set, operate and maintain the grain cleaning equipment, as well as assist in receiving incoming grain. There will be other tasks such as sweeping/shoveling grain and maintenance. The successful candidate must be an independent worker, physically fit, have effective written and oral skills, along with the ability to deal with the public effectively, have good working relationships and be a team player.
Skills
Grain Grading (pulse crop) an asset
Knowledge of computers a requirement;
Ability to multi-task;
Able to work in a dusty environment
Requirements
Experience as a Grain Plant Operator is required
Steel Toe Boots
Driver's license
Wage for the position will depend on experience
