JOB DETAILS:
We are currently accepting resumes for Plumber Journeypersons and Apprentices for work in the Red Deer and surrounding area.
Wage
Journeyperson - $45.20 and prorated per applicable apprentice year.
REPONSIBILITIES:
- Ideal Candidate will have experience in the service plumbing industry and have proven communication skills with, supervisors, employees, and customers.
- Install and service plumbing systems as per the National Plumbing Code in residential and commercial environments.
- Read & interpret blueprints, evaluate plans diagrams, specifications, schematics, and manufactures manuals.
- Install and service plumbing systems as per the National Plumbing Code.
- A drug and alcohol test may be required pending client requests for pre-access on some projects.
- Execute work safely and promote safe work behaviours with peers.
- Travelling to/from various job site locations.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Journeyman – 2+ years of service experience.
- Familiarity with applicable NPC codes.
- Ability to read & understand blueprints
- Excellent organization and time management
- Ability to complete documentation with detail & accuracy
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy loads (50lbs)
- Valid driver’s license
- To provide a drivers abstract prior to confirmation of hiring
- Be able to pass a security clearance

SCHEDULE:
- Applicant must be flexible to a multitude of shift types and hours worked
- On call
- Overtime as required
Pay: $36.37-$53.26 per hour
