Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Previous restaurant, hotel, or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment
- Help with food handling and storage to ensure safety standards are met
- Support the team in setting up and breaking down workstations for meal service
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations
