Primary Purpose
To build and maintain the people systems that allow Maverick to scale while protecting our culture, ensuring compliance, supporting employee development, and creating a consistent experience for both full-time staff and Brand Ambassadors.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Recruitment & Staffing
Own the hiring process from application to onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Manage job postings and recruitment pipelines
- Screen applicants
- Conduct initial interviews
- Coordinate second-round interviews with managers
- Manage reference checks
- Build a talent bench of Brand Ambassadors
- Develop relationships with colleges and universities
- Track staffing gaps by market
2. Onboarding & Training
Ensure every new hire starts successfully.
Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding checklists
- Coordinate Connecteam training modules
- Ensure all required documentation is complete
- Monitor training completion rates
- Coordinate field certifications
- Create role-specific onboarding paths
3. Employee Relations & Performance Management
Support managers while maintaining consistency.
Responsibilities
- Maintain personnel files
- Track attendance concerns
- Support coaching conversations
- Draft warning letters and performance plans
- Coordinate performance reviews
- Ensure policy compliance
- Execute off-boarding documentation
4. HR Administration
Keep everything organized and compliant.
Responsibilities
- Employment agreements
- Policy management
- Vacation tracking
- Employee file maintenance
- Benefit administration
- Payroll support and auditing
5. Culture & Employee Experience
Protect and strengthen the Maverick culture.
Responsibilities
- Employee recognition programs
- Birthday and work anniversary programs
- Employee of the Month
- Team events
- Staff surveys
- Internal communications
6. EOS Accountability Support
This is where the role becomes particularly valuable for Maverick.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accountability charts
- Track quarterly Rocks completion
- Manage scorecard reporting
- Follow up on overdue action items
- Ensure SOPs are reviewed and acknowledged
- Maintain organizational documentation
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
