Primary Function
We are seeking a commercially focused Financial Analyst (CPA) to support our Canadian sales organization through pricing, profitability, and rebate analysis. Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, this role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure disciplined pricing decisions, accurate rebate management, and clear visibility into customer and channel profitability.
This position is ideal for a CPA with strong analytical skills who enjoys working close to the business and translating financial data into actionable commercial insights.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to support pricing decisions, deal analysis, and customer profitability assessments
- Analyze product, customer, and channel margins, identifying drivers of profitability and areas for improvement
- Support the development, review, and monitoring of pricing programs, discounts, and promotional initiatives
- Manage and analyze customer rebate programs including monthly accruals, master data integrity, and variance analysis
- Develop financial models to assess the impact of pricing changes, rebates, and commercial programs on revenue and margin
- Support Sales team on critical monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) activities.
- Prepare regular reporting and dashboards to provide visibility into sales performance, and work with Sales team to understand trends and longer term impacts of current conditions.
- Collaborate with Finance team to ensure accurate revenue recognition, rebate accruals, and compliance with internal controls
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing discipline, rebate processes, and commercial reporting through automation and standardization
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and support special projects as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA designation (or actively working toward completion)
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, FP&A, or sales finance
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Experience supporting Sales or Commercial teams, including pricing and margin analysis
- Advanced Excel skills; comfort working with large data sets and financial systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or B2B environments
- Experience with rebate programs, gross-to-net analysis, or contract pricing
- Experience with SAP, alongside BPC and Analysis for Office
- Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Salary Range: $74,000 - $93,000
