ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER - FT

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager in our Quarks store at the Lloyd Mall to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, fun and professional work environment! The ideal candidate must have days/nights/weekday/weekend availability. If you are someone who is reliable and excited about their work, this is the job for you!

This is a retail, customer-facing sales and supervisory position that requires outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, team members and colleagues.
What we’re looking for from you:
· At least 2 years of relevant retail sales experience, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
· A secondary school graduate.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· A positive attitude with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience coaching and developing staff to optimize productivity and increase sales.
· Computer skills: Point of sale system, Outlook, MS Office tools.
· A passionate and engaged brand ambassador.
· Communication attributes:
o English proficiency is essential for job-related tasks which include but are not limited to engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide them with personalized recommendations; a clear and concise understanding of the products and their attributes; supporting fellow team members through coaching and development.
o Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members, while exhibiting active listening skills to ensure excellent service.
o Experience understanding and interpreting written materials, company policies, and operational guidelines to provide clear verbal direction to your fellow team members as needed.
o While English is required for work‑related communication, team members are welcome to use any language they prefer during breaks or personal conversations.
o Communication in another language to assist customers who speak that language is considered an asset.
