Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic City P&D Tractor Driver with flat deck experience to join our dynamic team to safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to customer locations. Load/unload cargo, manage shipping documentation, and maintain high customer service standards.
Duties
- Reviewing the daily manifest and planning the most efficient travel schedules
- Administering Bills of Lading (BOL), obtaining customer signatures for Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Ensuring all freight is properly secured using straps or chains to prevent shifting during city delivery.
- Manually loading and unloading goods.
Requirements
- One year of verifiable driving experience.
- One year of flat deck experience.
- Driver's Abstract
- You must provide proof of legal residency and eligibility to work in Canada
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
