What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, build client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. Prior experience in hair styling and a strong focus on sanitation are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Perform professional haircuts, trims, and styling services tailored to client preferences
- Provide personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools. Understanding of disinfection and sterliztion of tools is a MUST!
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front-desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques for men is a MUST! Skills in other feilds is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively listen and advise clients
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Ability to upsell products naturally while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Retail sales experience is a plus, with the ability to promote products confidently
- Front desk experience is beneficial for managing appointments and client interactions
- Professional style and well groomed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle customer disputes is essential!
- Portfolio of previous work (Ig page, photo album, etc.)
- Cover Letter & Resume
- Must work a 2-months probationary period
- Proficient in English (Punjabi is a plus)
