Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Coffee Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality coffee and beverages. This role involves preparing drinks, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. Previous barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and maintaining food safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Handle cashier duties including cash handling, basic math calculations, and processing payments accurately
- Ensure cleanliness of the workspace, equipment, and dining area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels of supplies and restock as needed during shifts
- Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Manage time efficiently to serve customers quickly during busy periods while maintaining quality
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
