Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mobile Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and repairing a variety of trucks and trailers, with a strong background in preventative maintenance and emergency roadside repairs. Duties

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks and trailers at customer locations or on the roadside.
- Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct emergency roadside repairs to minimize downtime for vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Operate service vehicles and ensure they are stocked with necessary tools and parts.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on repairs and manage expectations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing work.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies in truck and trailer maintenance.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a truck and trailer mechanic, with a focus on mobile repair services.
- Strong knowledge of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in commercial trucks and trailers.
- Proven experience in performing preventative maintenance, emergency roadside repairs, and routine inspections.
- Familiarity with using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to trucks and trailers.
- Experience working with a variety of truck brands and models, as well as different types of trailers (e.g., flatbeds, reefers, tankers).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides.
- Experience managing and maintaining a service vehicle, including keeping it stocked with essential tools and parts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or Class 5 (DL) and clean driving record are preferred.

Pay: $20.85-$31.81 per hour
