Summary
We are seeking a Front End/Cashier Supervisor to join our team at Sobeys Tuscany Grocery Store. Located in the heart of our community, this role is vital in ensuring smooth operations at the front end while delivering outstanding service to our customers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in upholding our mission of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front end operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
- Train and mentor cashiers and front end staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during their shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front end area.
- Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in a retail cashier environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
