What you should be aware of when applying to Innovative Fitness:
1. The coaching hours are client-dependent.
2. You are a part of a team, not an independent contractor.
3. You must be able to see challenges as fun, setbacks as opportunities, and sacrifice as a necessity.
Prerequisites – applicants must have the following:
- Degree in Kinesiology, registered with British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists AND/OR
- Personal Training Certification
- Current CPR and First Aid
- Experience training in a one-on-one setting, with both clinical and non-clinical clients (required)
- Effective collaboration and communication within a team framework
- Proficient in MS Excel and Google Suite of Apps: Calendar/Docs/Gmail/Drive, and online coaching platforms like Trainerize, is an asset.
- Experience leading run and bike groups is an asset
