Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Patching Technician to repair and restore concrete surfaces on commercial, industrial, and residential projects at Westcon Precast Inc. The successful candidate will perform concrete repairs, surface preparation, patching, and finishing while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Duties
- Repair damaged concrete on residential steps, precast structures.
- Remove deteriorated concrete using hand and power tools.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, chipping, grinding, or sandblasting.
- Apply bonding agents, repair mortars, grouts, and epoxy patching materials.
- Finish repaired areas to match the surrounding surface texture and appearance.
- Operate tools and equipment safely.
- Read and follow repair specifications and drawings as per CSA.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Work independently or as part of a construction crew.
Qualifications
- Experience in concrete repair, patching, or concrete finishing preferred.
- Knowledge of cementitious and epoxy repair products.
- Ability to use grinders, jackhammers, saws, trowels, and other hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb (23 kg).
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Preferred Skills
- Concrete finishing experience.
- Experience with structural concrete repairs.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor construction sites.
- Standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting throughout the day.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work as required.

Pay: $22.44-$40.50 per hour
