Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver parts to customers, vendors, and internal departments
- Load and unload parts using forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivery, ensuring all items are correct and complete
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and inventory documentation
- Assist in warehouse organization by moving stock as needed, supporting inventory management efforts
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (min. Class 5 DL) with a clean driving record
- Class 1 would be valuable for special deliveries
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is preferred; certification is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving of parts or equipment regularly
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety at all times
