Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff for Galitos to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems like clover , and process transactions with cash handling skills
- Provide menu recommendations and upselling to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times during food handling and serving
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in accordance with food safety protocols
- Manage time effectively to serve guests promptly during busy periods
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns professionally, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and front-of-house spaces in compliance with sanitation standards
- Support team members in ensuring smooth restaurant operations during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential
- Experience in restaurant service, food industry standards, or guest services will be advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures is desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
