Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Bartender to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments via POS systems.
- Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing duties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours, demonstrating strong time management skills.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food safety, food service, and alcohol service.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all legal regulations.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years old (or age required by local laws).
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
