Assistant Regional Operations Manager
The Assistant Regional Operations Manager – Hotels supports the Regional Operations Manager in overseeing the operational performance, guest satisfaction, and brand compliance of multiple hotel properties within an assigned region. This role assists hotel leadership teams in achieving operational goals, maintaining service standards, improving profitability, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across all properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Operations Manager in supervising daily operations of multiple hotel properties.
- Assist General Managers and department leaders with operational guidance, problem-solving, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores, online reviews, and operational performance metrics.
- Conduct regular property visits, inspections, and operational audits to ensure compliance with company and brand standards.
- Assist with implementation of operational policies, procedures, and service initiatives.
- Support hotel teams with staffing, training, coaching, and employee development.
- Help oversee budgeting, labor management, expense control, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and Food & Beverage to ensure operational consistency.
- Assist with hotel openings, renovations, transitions, and special projects as required.
- Prepare operational reports, follow-up action plans, and performance summaries for senior leadership.
- Address guest concerns and support resolution of escalated operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hotel operations or hotel management experience.
- Supervisory or multi-department hotel experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest service standards, and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities across multiple properties.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
