Duties
- Provide professional hair styling, haircutting, trimming, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Engage with clients to understand their desired looks and offer expert recommendations on styles and products.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly to ensure a safe environment.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and grooming accessories to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients warmly, and handling payments efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with clients about aftercare instructions and product usage to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- Promote retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and current promotions to boost revenue.
Experience
- Previous experience in barbering or hairstyling is preferred; certification from a recognized cosmetology or barbering program is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Knowledge of current hair trends, styling techniques, and sanitation protocols essential for delivering top-tier service.
- Excellent communication skills to listen attentively and provide clear advice on styles and products.
