Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service
- Supervise and motivate staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to meet safety and quality standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
- Implement operational policies to optimize service delivery and staff performance
- Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within the food industry or restaurant management roles
- Extensive food service experience including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
- Experience in food safety protocols and kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Previous barista experience or bar management knowledge can be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage restaurant finances
