Responsibilities and Duties
- Layout, fit, and weld carbon and stainless pipe (TIG, Stick, MIG) in both shop and field settings
- Read and interpret piping isometrics, blueprints, and weld symbols
- Measure and cut pipe to required lengths using saws, torches, and pipe cutters
- Fit and tack weld pipe sections in place, ensuring proper angles and alignment
- Work with crew members to rig and install pipe systems safely and accurately
- Complete welds to required codes and perform visual checks on finished work
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are in good condition
- Follow all safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Qualifications
- Red Seal or equivalent journeyperson welder or pipefitter certification preferred
- 3+ years of pipe welding and fitting experience in industrial or commercial settings
- Proficient in TIG, Stick, and MIG welding on carbon and stainless pipe
- Able to read and interpret piping drawings and isometric sketches
- Previous TSSA and CWB certifications preferred
- Experience working at customer sites, including shutdowns and maintenance work
- Strong understanding of welding procedures and safety practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at height, in confined spaces, and in outdoor conditions
Job Details
- Schedule: 9-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (some overtime and weekend work may be required)
- Pay: Based on experience – competitive with benefits
- Location: Shop and customer sites across Eastern Ontario

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
