At The Offy, we believe hospitality is about creating memorable experiences, building community, and delivering excellence in every detail. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a strong General Manager who is passionate about leadership, accountability, guest experience, and team development.
SUMMARY
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of The Offy Bistro while leading the team, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and leads by example. The General Manager serves as the operational leader of the business and is responsible for ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with The Offy’s standards and values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house leadership and team members
- Foster a positive, accountable, and solutions-focused culture
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching conversations
- Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training
- Ensure all team members understand and uphold company standards
Operations
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations
- Ensure opening, service, and closing procedures are executed consistently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment
- Monitor service standards and guest experience throughout all dayparts
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
Financial Performance
- Manage labour costs and scheduling to meet targets
- Monitor daily sales, guest counts, and key performance indicators
- Review food and beverage costs in partnership with the Chef
- Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
Guest Experience
- Actively engage with guests and build community relationships
- Ensure exceptional hospitality and service standards
- Support private events, catering opportunities, and community partnerships
- Address guest feedback and online reviews professionally
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of hospitality management experience
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labour management, and cost controls
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant technology platforms

Pay: $55,832.44-$75,292.78 per year
