Programmer / Software Developer (MD-DNPSD-234890N)
DESCRIPTION: Nortak Software is currently seeking Intermediate Programmer / Software Developers with the following qualifications:
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development (includes activities related to Application Development, Application Maintenance, Authentication, Security Principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a programming background applicable to modern application development such as Power Platform, and Oracle Apex working with 1) MS Power Apps, and 2) Power Automate, and 3) Microsoft Power Platform, PowerBI to build apps and/or automate processes
- Minimum 1 year of experience with a basic understanding of authentication and security concepts relevant to application design working with 1) MS Power Apps, and 2) Power Automate, and 3) Microsoft Power Platform, PowerBI to build apps and/or automate processes
- Minimum 1 year of experience garnering a working knowledge of SDLC practices working with 1) MS Power Apps, and 2) Power Automate, and 3) Microsoft Power Platform, PowerBI to build apps and/or automate processes
- Minimum 1 year of experience in developing solutions with each of the following application: Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Lists, SharePoint Online, MS Teams)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline implementation, code repository management using Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC), and integration of automated unit, integration, and UI testing within the CI/CD pipeline
- Valid Government of Canada Reliability Status security screening granted by CSP/PSPC
RATED CRITERIA:
- Experience on MS Power Apps to build custom apps (canvas and Modern driven apps) on MS Power Platform
- Experience on Power Automate as part of the MS Power Platform software to perform work
- Experience on Power BI to create Interactive Dashboards to visualize data and share insights, and for Reporting Automation
- Experience using with MS Azure and Azure DevOps to perform work
- Experience automating the build, test, and deployment of applications (CI/CD) in Azure DevOps
- Experience hosting and managing code repositories using Azure Repos
- Experience integrating automated unit, integration, and UI tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with Microsoft 365 apps (MS SharePoint, MS Forms, Microsoft List)
- Experience creating and managing surveys, feedback forms, and data collection tools using Microsoft Forms
- Experience building and customizing lists for tracking, organizing, and managing data using Microsoft Lists
- Experience developing and maintaining team sites, document libraries, workflows, and permissions using Microsoft SharePoint Online
- Experience structuring channels, integrating apps, and supporting collaboration features. using Microsoft Teams
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing and preparing diagrammatic plans, program specifications, and flowcharts
- Minimum 5 years of experience translating detailed designs and flowcharts into coded program instructions
- Minimum 5 years of experience preparing test data, conducting unit and system testing, and supporting implementation activities
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing technical and operational documentation
