Our busy textile screen printing shop has an immediate opening for a screen print press operator.
Primary duties include:
- Screen printing single and multi-colour designs on tee shirts
- Registering single and multi-colour designs in preparation for screen printing
- Receive and organize incoming garments
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Performing general housekeeping duties
Additional duties include:
- Reclaiming used screens
- Folding and packing decorated garments
- Sorting and laying out garments for decorating
- Mixing custom inks for press operators
- Coating reclaimed screens
As the successful applicant you must possess:
- Punctuality
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- The ability to multitask while remaining focused on the task at hand
- The ability to understand and participate in production flow
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
As the successful applicant you must be able to:
- Work independently while being part of a team
- Solve any arising issues quickly and creatively
- Show initiative and step up as needed to help the team in all aspects of production
- Communicate effectively with all team members and clients
- Stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
This position is 40 hours per week Mondays through Thursdays.
Starting compensation is $16.00 per hour.
