This is a permanent casual position with the Community Services Department.
Reporting to the Recreation Programmer, this position is responsible for:
- Providing strong customer service as a front-line ambassador for the City of Cold Lake recreation customers by creating a positive and energetic atmosphere.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as scheduling wellness key appointments, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and open communication with clients, coworkers and contractors.
- Assisting with set up and take down of fitness programming and facility event transitions when required.
- Ensuring cleanliness, working order and efficiency of equipment by completing scheduled cleaning and inspections of the Wellness Centre.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Fitness/Sports background; Fitness Cerification peferred.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification is considered an asset.
- Satisfactory annual Driver’s Abstract.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
Wage for this position is $21.33 per hour, with daytime and evening avaliability through the week and weekend on an as needed basis.
This position is within the scope of AUPE Local 118/016, and as such you will be required to adhere to articles contained within the Collective Agreement.
