PSW - Overnight (Relief Support)
Looking for a PSW for overnight supporting a woman in her 70s who lives at home and requires both walking assistance and personal care.
Ideal candidate:
-kind and attentive
-able to notice small changes in behaviour
-light sleeper
-responsible and prone to quick thinking
-timely and reliable
-driver's license and ability to drive
-able to provide toileting assistance when needed
-knowledge of incontinence
-experience or willingness to learn about occasional seizures
-doesn't mind waking up in the middle of the night
-available and willing to go to the hospital in the event of an emergency (could be in Saint John, depending on time of night)
-some lifting required
The overnight shift is from 8:30pm-8am (sometimes to 8:30am). There is not a set number of shifts per week - all available shifts will be sent out via text. Other daytime and evening relief shifts are available as well.
