About Feely Music
Feely Music has been offering enriching, affordable, and convenient in-home music lessons across Canada since 2015. We’re now expanding in Oakville and looking for warm and committed piano teachers who are excited to grow with us.

What Feely Music offers
- Flexible scheduling: You control the days, times, and postal areas where you teach, using your Wellness Living profile.
- Choose your driving area: Set your postal code zones using Wellness Living, so only students in your driving range can book you
- You teach your way: Teach custom lessons; you choose the curriculum and materials of your own choice.
- No-show protection: 24-hours notice required to cancel or the teacher is paid
- Concerts: We aim to host one student concert per year in major cities. Monthly at home performances organized by the Feely Music Agenda.
- School readiness opportunity: Teachers whose interests and strengths fit this area may also be considered for our school prep piano lessons ages 3+
- Grow with Feely Music: We notice and reward great teachers. Over time, there's potential to step into brand leadership and management roles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a Professional Online Profile: Keep your Feely Music Wellness Living profile up to date, including a clear headshot, bio, and current availability.
- Offer Availability During Peak Hours: Be available on weeknights after school and/or weekends (not just daytime hours during the week)
- Deliver Custom Lessons: Teach students of all ages, from beginners learning for fun through to RCM exam prep.
- Manage Your Schedule: Set your own hours, book time off, and enter your availability accurately in Wellness Living.
- Provide Consistency: Be punctual for all lessons and give 24 hours’ notice if a cancellation is needed.
- Engage & Inspire: Foster a positive, growth-oriented atmosphere focused on each student’s goals and interests.
- Provide Accurate Monthly Invoices: Submit accurate invoices each month through the Feely Music Slack channel.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and promptly with Feely Music operators through Slack regarding invoice questions, student questions, or anything else that comes up.
Requirements
- A vehicle for commuting (your own or a reliable driver)
- Grade 8 RCM (or equivalent playing ability)
- Able to commit to at least 1 year of teaching in the same city
- Can pass a vulnerable sector check
- Warm, optimistic, and genuinely excited to teach
- Able to use online software to stay organized (you'll use our scheduling/profile system independently)
Teachers who are forward-thinking and growth-minded, and who enjoy sharing music with their community and building relationships with families, may have opportunities to grow with the company into mentorship or leadership roles.
