We are looking for a Millwright and Electrician with a dual ticket to join our Plant Team! Primarily, the person will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of our equipment, from reactive, to preventive and finally to predictive Maintenance.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience within the food industry, preferably dairy.- Must possess an Ontario and/or Interprovincial Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) – 433A license and 442A License (Electrician) required. A dual ticket (Millwright + Electrician) is required.
- Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP.
- Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability
- You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills
- You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical/pneumatic/electrical pumps and valves
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Computer skills would be an asset.
- Experience working with a CMMS would be an asset
- Familiar with continuous improvement processes and methodologies would be an asset.
THINGS YOU WILL DO…
Improve equipment performance and reliability.- Repair and maintain equipment (processors, homogenizers, pasteurizers, packaging, etc)
- Lead local management of parts for projects and coordinate contractors’ activities as required.
- Check shipments when they arrive and contact suppliers for any issues or inquiries
OTHER…
Must be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required.- Physically capable of performing the demands of the job.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Repair plant equipment efficiently to minimize downtime of operations (internal and external);- Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement programs.
