IMart Media is a marketing agency that has been in the industry since 2014, helping businesses grow through digital marketing, branding, social media content, and video production.
We are seeking a talented Remote Short-Form Video Editor to join our team and help us create high-quality video content for restaurants, cafes, food brands, and hospitality businesses.
This role is focused on editing short-form videos that are optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms. The ideal candidate understands restaurant content, food videos, social media trends, strong hooks, captions, pacing, sound design, and how to make food and restaurant footage look visually appealing.
This is a remote position with flexible hours. However, applicants must be based in the Greater Toronto Area for occasional in-person meetings if needed.
Duties
Edit short-form videos for restaurants, cafes, food brands, and hospitality clients.
Create 15–60 second videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
Turn raw footage into polished, engaging, scroll-stopping videos with strong hooks, clean cuts, captions, music, sound effects, transitions, and color correction.
Make food, drinks, restaurant interiors, staff, and customer experiences look professional, premium, and visually appealing.
Adapt videos for different platforms, including proper aspect ratios, pacing, captions, thumbnails, and social media trends.
Add branding elements, text overlays, call-to-actions, subtitles, basic motion graphics, and promotional messaging when needed.
Work with footage provided by our videographer and follow creative direction for different restaurant clients.
Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
Maintain organized project files and ensure consistency across all video content.
Communicate clearly with the team in a remote work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience editing short-form videos for social media, digital marketing, or brand content.
Must be familiar with restaurant, food, cafe, hospitality, product, or lifestyle content.
Strong understanding of what makes food videos attractive, engaging, and effective on social media.
Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
Strong skills in captions, pacing, music selection, sound effects, transitions, color correction, and basic motion graphics.
Ability to follow brand guidelines and adapt editing style for different restaurants and campaigns.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate reliably.
Must have reliable internet access and be comfortable working remotely.

## Nice to Have
Experience editing restaurant marketing videos or food-related content.
Experience editing paid ad creatives for Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
Ability to create trendy edits based on current social media styles.
Experience with animated captions, subtitles, hooks, and call-to-action graphics.
Basic knowledge of Arabic captions is a plus but not required.
